The TransAlps Safari is the first and unique in its kind in the world, using skilifts on surely the best mountain biking spots in Europa.

It is a mix of resort riding and cross-country riding and will make you discover the fantastic mountain biking potential of Mont Blanc area. We propose an original and unencumbered route, far from the crowd to be closer to nature and mountain, without bags and concern!!

Itinerary / Highlights

DAY 1(Sunday):

Starting from Les Carroz, heart of the "Grand Massif”, that day will offer you a great ride between the valleys of Giffre and Arve rivers, between mountain pastures and mineral universe. The overview on the surrounding mountains will enable us to visualize the various sites on which we will move. We will reach top Flaine resort 2500m (8,300 feet) of altitude thanks to a gondola. The view on the Mont Blanc range is just breathtaking, and if we are lucky we can see 200 km far in south direction. The Downhill of 1500m (5,000 feet) of uneven negative and 12 km back to the chalet is just Epic and Exceptional!

DAY 2 (Monday):

Departure towards the village of Les Gets, world reknown resort on several occasions having accommodated the world mountain bike championships. Les Gets resort is also known for its bikeparks and DH slopes, but that's not our goal today. We'll prefer real and non asepticized mountain trails: large two path and easy single tracks are on programme.

DAY 3 (Tuesday):

From Morzine considered as the MTB Mecca in Europa we will ride the round tour of Portes du Soleil resort, the widest ski resort of the world, with more than 650 Kms of slopes! We will cross the Swiss border to pass in the villages of Morgin, Champoussin, Crosets. We will pass underneath the “Dents du Midi” mountain range in a fantastic environment of glaciers and high mountains! ! A great day of mountain bike awaits you! ! !

DAY 4 (Wednesday):

Departure from the village of Megeve to ride on the ground of the "Green Diamond", between the Mont Blanc and the Aravis mountain range in a breathtaking setting .Unknown and uncrowed, this spot is a real jewel. No bikers, a few trekkers, singletracks, alpine chalets, splendid landscapes, a dream... And it is all for us! Imagine 90 km of trails and 2800m of uneven negative are offered to us!

DAY 5 (Thursday):

Riding in the mythic spot of Chamonix under the lord the Alps, the Mont Blanc, is a dream for many bikers in the world. We will carry out this dream by crossing the valley thanks to the cabins of le Tour via Flegere, while going down in the Vallorcine valley by a beautiful singletrack which slaloms under the larches!! Exceptional landscapes, various trails will satisfy the hungriest MTB riders... Good whole... After the ride a visit of the city is essential!!

DAY 6 (Friday):

La Clusaz resort, another unknown spot. You wanted mountain bike and it is which awaits us with more today than 70% of technical trails , crazy downhills, splendid small tracks crossing the middle of the herds of cows with their large bells, great slaloming trails in the woods. Starting from la Clusaz village, gently warming up by an easy cruise DownHill to lac des Confins, we'll ride on top of Danay, little flat summit separating Clusaz valley of Grand Bornand valley of 800m!! A first epic technical singletracks will improve your skill and your nerves!!! Crossing of the plateau of Beauregard and, cherry on the cake, we'll finish this last day ride by the unforgettable downhill of la Patton:

Hang your belts and revise your brakes, that will go down steep! Steps, narrow lacets, rocks, roots are at the menu for this final descent!! The paradise...

Chalet Odysseus: catered chalet 10 guests

Chalet Odysseus ,traditionally wooden chalet,decorated in alpine style, has stunning views from its' large balconies and sunny terrace of the surrounding countryside and neighbouring peaks.

The accommodation comprising:

Three double bedrooms (one can be used as a twin)
Two win rooms
One room with two superimposed beds
All with en-suite bathroom or shower and WC
All rooms have telephone lines enabling e-mails and internet
Closed and safe place to store the bike
Possibility to wash the bikes.

The ample living area provides dining area, TV corner and sitting area with comfortable sofas around an open log fire.

Chalet Hotel Les Airelles: catered chalet /18 guests

Chalet Hotel Les Airelles ,traditionally wooden chalet,decorated in alpine style, has stunning views from its' bedrooms and sunny terrace of the surrounding countryside and neighbouring peaks.

The chalet can accommodate 18 people in total comfort and is 1 mn far by feet from the centre of the village: perfect location!

The accommodation comprising:

6 double bedrooms (one can be used as a twin)
3 twin bedrooms
All with en-suite bathroom or shower and WC
All rooms have TV and telephone lines enabling e-mails and internet
Closed and safe place to store the bike

The restaurant is one of the best table in les Carroz and will take care of your after ride hungry stomacs with local menus like fondue, tartiflette or magret de canard aux airelles....
