Salzburg To Vienna Cycle
A unique cycle journey to experience the very best of Austria's sublime scenery, from the deep blue lakes of Salzkammergut, known as Austria's Lakes District, to the majestic Danube River, renowned for its vineyards, castles and historic towns.
From Mozart's home town, Salzburg, the cycle route heads west to the banks of several lakes including Mondsee and Attersee. There is ample time to explore the valleys and small towns in the vicinity before continuing to the Danube and the town of Linz, the capital of Upper Austria.
Following the Danube bends past monasteries, and the UNESCO listed Wachau Valley, famous for its wines and classic scenery, the cycling ends in the magnificent city of Vienna.
