The Mae Sa valley is well known for its elephant camps, orchid and butterfly farms, snake farms and other tourist attractions, as well as luxury hotels or resorts. Mae Sa valley has become one of Chiangmai’s most popular tourist destination. We propose a cycling trip which will take you just outside this valley, where not many people venture.

Come to discover with us the hidden trails of Mae Sa valley, on a mountain-bike! The scenic valley is surrounded with lush forest and mountains, hiding some refreshing waterfalls. Part of the Doi Suthep National park is bordering the valley. A network of trails and rural roads makes it an interesting cycling trip, with quiet a few hill to climb!

Itinerary / Highlights

Itinerary

08h00 Meeting at your hotel with your guide.
Transfer by vehicle to the Mae Sa valley area.
Bike fitting and trip explanation. We fit helmets, hand out water, getting ready.
Start our day, cycling through forest amid spectacular mountain scenery.
Ending point in the valley. Return back to Chiang Mai late afternoon. Drop off at your hotel between 17h00 to 18h00.

Fully guided tour with partial vehicle support. The route and itinerary is fully flexible, and will be decided on the spot by your guide. Suitable for experienced cyclists only as there are technical downhills and few steep climbs.
You can ride anywhere from 30 up to 50 km when the entire loop is done.
