The training:-
Transform your riding, skills and confidence to the next level whilst you learn how to teach and guide beginner to intermediate mountain bikers - in any discipline! Training for the Professional Mountain Bike Instructor (PMBI) Courses, we'll teach you how to analyze the sport, understand it's key skills and components whilst learning the principles to safe, effective instruction.

ZEP's Instructor Training Camp will develop your teaching as well as your riding. These camps are unique in that you train for and take the PMBI Certification course before the end of the camp. This allows you to practice, and ultimately, develop your teaching and riding as a new PMBI Instructor before you leave the campâ€¦ making you a much better instructor and rider when you start working as one!

Itinerary

The course:-
The 4-week Instructor Training Camps include two weeks Rider Improvement Coaching in the world-class Whistler Valley XC/FR trails and Whistler Bike Park. Week three sees you training for and sitting the PMBI Level I course, then week four involves further Teaching & Riding Improvement as you begin to test out your new found instructing skills!

Each Camper will receive the PMBI Instructor Training Manual and Riding Technique Manuals; including all the theory, skills and exercises coached to you on the trails, thus maximizing the learning process.

This camp is also 100% practical based - up to four days/week with evening seminars included to cover certain topics such as Teaching Theory, Guiding Protocols, Mechanic Classes and Riding Analysis & Feedback Video Sessions.
