The Mountain Biking and alpine sports in Morzine and Les Gets is legendary, and it is still by far and away the biggest and the best bike and alpine resort in the Alps! The resort plays host to many world class bike events and offers an excellent range of bike facilities and trails which are suited to all levels of rider.

The resort also boasts the largest area of bike trails and the biggest network of ski lifts open to bikers in Europe. As well as being a bit of a “mecca” for Down hillers with several man made DH courses featuring berms, banks, tunnels and jumps, this resort also appeals to the Cross Country bikers with a staggering 1000 kms + of bike trails comprising of Fire Roads and Singletrack riding. Again some of the best XC riding in the Alps.

The main highlight with the Morzine area, is that it's an immensely pretty and family-friendly resort. There's excellent mountain biking, hill walking and a huge variety of other alpine sporting (and non sporting) activities. Morzine has the greatest amount of ski lifts open in the Alps during the summer enabling walkers, bikers and hikers to cover many miles of mountain terrain over into Switzerland and beyond!

Itinerary / Highlights

WEEK ITINERARY
• Day 1 - Flight to Geneva. Transfer to resort. Settle into resort, meet our Active Reps. Welcome speech. Dinner at 8pm-
• Day 2-6 - Breakfast 8.00 to 9.30am each day. Activities start, however there is no set itinerary, guests are free to go at their own pace. Try Mountain Biking, Walking, Climbing, Canyoning, Tennis, Via Ferrata, Quad Bikes and other Multi Activities.
• Day 7 - White Water Rafting and Multi Activities in the afternoon. This free rafting day may change
• Day 8 - Transfer to Geneva, Flight to UK.


MULTI ACTIVITIES:
Many activities are free on the Multipass or very low cost. Try other Activities like Canyoning, Hydrospeed, Canoeing, Climbing, Parapenting, Pony Treks, Quad bikes, Swimming, Tennis, Via Ferrata & many more. Cost varies from £3 to £35. A multi pass is also a great idea for 3 days a week.

FREE BIKE HIRE:
ee with this holiday deal is 3-4 days rental of a 2011 Kona Fire Mountain Bike. This is a front suspension, disc braked bike which retails for £450. All sizes. Childrens bikes (age 6+) are limited.

Accommodation Details

Chalet Nyon:
Chalet Nyon has the benefit of a hot tub and a major ski-lift situated right next door to the chalet. This ski-lift accesses one of the best peaks in the area, called Pointe de Nyon which places much of the Morzine and Les Gets bike trails at your fingertips.

The chalet was overhauled in 2004 and is in excellent condition, providing comfortable and very well facilitated accommodation.

Hotel Chamois:
Alpine Elements exclusive club hotel - Chamois which is based in the centre of resort just 150 metres from the ski lifts and bike trails. Bars and restaurants are on the doorstep.

The Hotel is a very friendly property full of like-minded bikers and alpine enthusiasts and has live in Mountain Guides, Mechanics, Jet Wash and full workshop facilities to help when your bike breaks down!
