Described by some as the French equivalent of the Hamptons, Ile de Re is an exclusive Island surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean, close to the city of La Rochelle. It is known for its unspoilt feel, slow pace of life, beaches, sunshine & café culture. You will be based in a light and airy island house or a hand-picked small local hotel, set amongst the secret alleyways, art galleries and cobbled pathways of a small fishing village who's quayside is surrounded by restaurants and elegant shops. We are offering a real mix of activities from surf lessons, skippered yachts, cycling food and wine tasting tours, pampering in the form of thallosotherapy treatments, horse riding or walking along the golden sandy beaches. The flexi allows the group to experience one or two new activities a day. When you book your Hen Party we plan the package with you so that you can choose the activities that really suit your interests. There are over 10 activities to choose from, so there is something for everyone to really help celebrate this special weekend away. RARA Home from home service On a RocknRoll Adventures Hen Party everything is taken care of, from planning the activities of the day to providing a delicious evening meal. You are free to focus all your energy on celebrating this special time and making the trip a really memorable occasion to look back on. Your transfer will pick you up from La Rochelle airport and drive you the ten-minute journey onto the island. A guide will escort you to activities, be on hand should you have any queries, and make sure everything runs smoothly during your day. Our welcoming hosting creates a friendly environment where you can relax after a satisfying day of activities. Evening meals are enjoyed at tried and tested, quayside restaurants serving the fresh catches of the day as the sun sets. Itinerary

This multi activity Hen Party set on the exclusive Island of IL de Re has a whole host of activities for you to chose from. Choose up to 2 activities a day (to be booked in advance).

Day 1: Arrival: Depending on how you travel to France we, will either see you at the house in La Flotte or meet you at La Rochelle Airport. After you have checked into your rooms, you have the rest of the day to discover the beautiful village in which will be your home for the next few days. Wonder around the narrow cobbled streets, visit the local galleries, shops, sip cocktails in the quayside cafes/bars, stroll along the beach or simply relax by the poolside at home. You could also go for a treatment at the local Thalosstherapy Institute. In the evening we will serve an aperitif and nibbles at home before heading out to eat in a friendly quayside restaurant, serving plenty of locally caught seafood and fish. Or we will serve a 3 course home cooked evening meal with wine.

Day 2

Choose a maximum of 2 activities (to be booked in advance) We will arrange everything for you, and escort you to and from the different activity centres. Or take advantage of our free cycling food tasting tour that we offer to all our Hen Groups. IL de Re is a flat Island which makes it perfect for cycling. On bikes we will slowly discover some of the Islands most beautiful places. We pass along golden sandy beaches, salt pans, and pine forests visit farms and taste foods that have been locally produced (wine, goats cheese, honey, oysters, salt). Each bike has a basket on the front for any souvenirs you might pick up. Picnic on the beach or have lunch on the Quayside in the capital of the Island St Martin de Re. When we have soaked up enough rays on the beach we will slowly meander back to La Flotte, have an aperitif and nibbles at the house before heading out to a different local restaurant for another delicious 3 course dinner. Or we will serve a 3 course home cooked evening meal with wine.

Day 3

After a lazy breakfast, there is time for one last activity or you might prefer to enjoy the house or wander around the town and market. We have to check out of the accommodation by 12, but luggage can be stored. After lunch we will transfer you back to the airport/train station in plenty of time for your flight/train home.
