Morzine - Les Gets has one of the finest year-round trades in the Alps. As well as being a very popular ski destination for winter, over the years Morzine has developed a very good infrastructure with a wealth of facilities which put it in the top league for summer alpine destinations. It is the longest standing "summer alpine" resort after Chamonix.

The main high-light with Morzine, is that it is an immensely pretty and family-friendly resort. There is some excellent hill walking as well as a huge variety of other alpine sporting (and non sporting) attractions. Morzine has the greatest amount of ski lifts open in the Alps during the summer. This network of lifts enable walkers, bikers and hikers to cover many miles of mountain terrain over into Switzerland and beyond!

Morzine is a very pretty and pleasant resort to stay in. Being quite a large mountain resort there is lots to offer and it is heavily accentuated with the right amount of British presence. Socially it is one of the most lively resorts in France for night life. The resort is all low lying picturesque chalet-style buildings, and there are many small shops and boutiques to keep the holiday makers happy.

The mountain biking is particularly famous in Morzine for being some of the best in Europe. The walking is fabulous, the scenery is stunning and the local architecture is very charming with lots of cafes and excellent restaurants.

Itinerary / Highlights

WEEK ITINERARY
• Day 1 - Flight to Geneva. Transfer to resort. Settle into resort, meet our Active Reps. Welcome speech. Dinner at 8pm-
• Day 2-6 - Breakfast 8.00 to 9.30am each day. Activities start, however there is no set itinerary, guests are free to go at their own pace. Try Mountain Biking, Walking, Climbing, Canyoning, Tennis, Via Ferrata, Quad Bikes and other Multi Activities.
• Day 7 - White Water Rafting and Multi Activities in the afternoon. This free rafting day may change
• Day 8 - Transfer to Geneva, Flight to UK.

*Except for the more premium activities such as rafting, climbing, canyoning which will run at set times.

MULTI ACTIVITIES:
Many activities are free on the Multipass or very low cost. Try other Activities like Canyoning, Hydrospeed, Canoeing, Climbing, Parapenting, Pony Treks, Quad bikes, Swimming, Tennis, Via Ferrata & many more. Cost varies from £3 to £35. A multi pass is also a great idea for 3 days a week.

FREE BIKE HIRE:
ee with this holiday deal is 3-4 days rental of a 2011 Kona Fire Mountain Bike. This is a front suspension, disc braked bike which retails for £450. All sizes. Childrens bikes (age 6+) are limited.

Accommodation Details

The Chamois is the most prized hotel in our collection! It is an Alpine Elements exclusive hotel, which is staffed and run entirely by us and so you can expect the best service and other sociable British alpine enthusiasts and families to mix with.

The hotel is located in the centre of resort with bars and restaurants close to hand. The world class bike trails and ski lifts for bikers and walkers are moments away and family activities are also situated on the doorstep.

The ever popular Les Gets is a very pretty mountain resort and offers access to over 1000 kms of mountain bike and walking trails and numerous alpine activities! The resort is quite exclusive, very pretty and a lively place which is ideal for couples, small group of friends and families.

The Hotel restaurant will be serving a range of traditional and modern dishes from our English chefs. The breakfast buffet will consist of cooked and continental choices, and the evening meal will be 3 courses, 6 days a week.

The Hotel was totally newly renovated (exterior) over last summer and so it does look great. Inside - It is best described as comfortable and honest ski accommodation, which is excellent value. The rooms are newly decorated and many have nice balconies with mountain views. All the en suites are full en suites (rather than shower only) and functional and clean (however they are a little dated in tile décor!)
