   Itinerary & Highlights

  DAY 1( thursday) :

First official day our TransAlps to Chamonix, we'll ride to Flaine and take the skilift to 2500 meters. Top of Flaine is just breathtaking, the view over the Mont Blanc range and the mountains around is absolutly unique! After a terrific 1000 meters descent , we'll sleep in the quaint remote mountain refuge of lac de Gers. Refuge de Gers has hot showers, running water, toilets. Rooms are shared between 4 /6 people. The dinner will make you taste the local style cooking.

DAY 2 (friday):

Long and difficult day! First we descend down to the village of Sixt Fer a Cheval 750m then we'll climb to col d'Anterne 2257m, most of the climb in unridable. The first part of the climb can be done on the bike than no choice,
it's a push and carry session to Lake d'Anterne than to Col d'Anterne! The reward is a 1600m descent to Le Fayet where we'll take the Tramway du Mont- Blanc to Col de Voza 1650m the descend to Les Houches village via a technical singletrack and to Chamonix!

DAY 3 (saturday):
Riding in the mythic spot of Chamonix under the lord the Alps, the Mont Blanc, is a dream for many bikers in the world. We will carry out this dream by crossing the valley thanks to the cabins of le Tour via Flegere, while going down in the Vallorcine valley by a beautiful singletrack which slaloms under the larches!! Exceptionnal landscapes, various trails will satisfy the hungriest MTB riders... Good whole... After the ride a visit of the city is essential!!

DAY 4 (sunday):
Ride on "Grand Massif" area. We'll explore this unknown (not for the moment but it won't last...) resort through the ski area of Carroz, Samoens and Morillon. For the unfrightenned, they 'll can try the DH slope of Morillon. Trails are very various, double track to technical tracks, open pastures, and a beautifull view over the Arve and Giffre rivers valley.
