Descend the Rockies
This Holiday takes you to some of the best descents in the world, including the '94 and '01 UCI World Champs courses at Vail and World class trails and freeride park at Keystone.
You will be staying in the small mountain town of Breckenridge high up in the Colorado Rockies with Vail and Keystone only a few minutes drive away. 14,000ft snow capped peaks overlook the town, offering a whole network of fantastic trails and breath taking views from the top of the longest ski lift in Colorado - Ideal for stretching those legs on your days off.
Daily trips to Vail and Keystone will give you unlimited uplifts to trails such as 'American Flyer' (2001 UCI World Champs course), the 3.8 mile 1994 UCI World Champs course, 8 miles of 'Fred's Lunch' and 'Magic Forest' at Vail and the mix of World Cup worthy downhill courses and North Shore style free riding at Keystone including 'Cowboy Up', 'TNT', 'Punk Rock', 'Wild Thing' and the brand new 'Motorhead'! More miles of sweet flowing trails than in your wildest dreams combined with some of the most beautiful scenery in the world will ensure you'll never want to leave this place!

Day 1 - Arrival day
Hotel accommodation will be organised by RTW close to Denver International Airport so it will be easy to relax after your journey to Colorado.
Day 2 - Introduction, transfer to Breckenridge
From Denver we transfer you to your accommodation in Breckenridge just 2 hours into the mountains where you'll be able to unpack and have a look around town. If you're eager to get riding, the Breckenridge lifts will take you to the top of peak 8 giving you about 3000ft to bed in those new brake pads and give you a feel for high altitude riding.
Days 3,4,5,6,7 - Vail
Daily transfers to Vail take just over 30 minutes each way.
Day 8 - Day off
After five days at Vail chances are you'll welcome a day's rest and a chance to chill out at the chalet or in one of the many bars or cafes in town. If you're still full of energy however, you could go swimming, have a round of golf, go fishing, white water rafting, take a trip to the factory stores at Silverthorne for some shopping, or even hit the Breckenridge slopes for yet more two wheeled action.
Days 9,10,11,12,13 - Keystone
Daily transfers to Keystone take just under 30 minutes.
Day 14 - Day off and transfer to Denver
This is the last chance for trying out those Breckenridge trails. After which we transfer you back to Denver. |
