Finikounda is located in a very fertile, pretty corner of southwest Greece, largely unspoilt by tourist or industrial development. The village and nearby hamlets still thrive primarily as farming and fishing communities, so a brief walk away from the beach opens up hidden valleys of fertile land, growing all manner of vegetables.
Farm tracks cover the hillside and coastal pathways offer easy access either on foot or by bike. You get a real feeling of going back in time as you wander into tiny communities with just one coffee shop, also serving as the corner shop, post office and social club.
Mornings suit beginners with light winds, warm water and a safe sandy beach from which to practise. Stronger afternoon cross-onshore winds are great for intermediates, offering an ideal opportunity for harness practice with footstraps and waterstart sessions.

Dinghy Sailing
Dinghy sailors revel in the brisk winds, practising spinnakers and trapezing or racing the Laser fleet. Regular day sails allow you to explore remote beaches where the real beauty of this area of Greece can be appreciated.

Fini Beachclub has a laid back atmosphere and an unbeatable location on a secluded sandy beach, with fantastic views over the sailing area and village of Finikounda.
• Large, comfortable rooms are located over three floors, some with stunning seaviews. There is a choice of twin, double and triple rooms all with shower and wc, safety deposit box, air conditioning and a balcony.
• There is also a number of family rooms, with double or twin bed and an additional sleeping area for children with bunk or twin beds, partially separated from the main room.
• All family rooms have bath and/or shower, wc, safety deposit box, fridge, air conditioning and balcony.
• All rooms are close to the pool, sailing beach, pool bar, breakfast area and restaurant.
Facilities
• Fini Beachclub has a large attractive swimming pool with adjacent children's pool, both are centrally located with plenty of space for relaxation.
• There are a couple of large shaded cabanas with great views over the beach, offering welcome relief from the sun.
• The pool bar serves light snacks and salads at lunchtime.
• There is also an evening restaurant with large terrace and spectacular views across the bay, serving traditional Greek food.
Meals
• Continental buffet breakfast
Elenis House is situated in the heart of the charming village of Finikounda and is a great base for those wishing to enjoy a more traditional base, just 15 minutes walk from Fini Beachclub.
• Rooms are simple but well kept, with en-suite facilities, fridge, air conditioning and a shared kitchen
• We would not recommend Eleni's House to families with young children.

• Guests can use all facilities available at the Fini Beachclub.
