Choosing your mountain bike holidays on world known spots as Morzine, Chamonix, Les Gets, Grand Massif, Megeve is not a hazard. The area called Haute Savoie is certainly one of the best spots on earth to ride.
THE PERFECT PLAYGROUND:
Easy trails, single tracks, technical and challenging down hills, long climbs on 2 path trails or pure hard XC courses, everything a mountain biker can dream about... The alpine sceneries are breathtaking, glaciers falling from mountain tops, green and flowered pastures, cows herds with their ringing bells, typical old wood made mountain chalets... And don't forget the food and the wines!! Local delicatessen are exceptional and are a truly part of the local culture....More than usual mountain biking holidays, here at Alpsmountainbike we want to share our love of mountain bike riding, of our area and the local culture. .. because we are French locals, and born in our beloved mountains.
With our 4 catered chalets and 2 self-catered chalets holidays based in the village of les Carroz, we provide top quality mountain bike tours on different bases of prices to suits all wallets!!! The goal of Alpsmountainbike is to propose an alternative to the classics mountain biking holidays in Morzine, les Gets and Portes du Soleil on their crowded trails and DH slopes so we include in our trips nights in mountain refuges and rides in the outlying spots around Carroz.
The area is full of trails that most foreign mtb holidays providers ignore, and we think it would be missing the real sense of mountain biking to stay a full week on the same place (mountain biking means biking in the mountain no????). Our fat tire bikes are such fantastic tools to explore the mountain, it would be a mess not to do it!!! We are specialized in small groups from 2 to 8 persons, no more! Why? First, for the security, second for cohesion and third for user friendliness in the team. We always ride with a walkie-talkie (should we say bikie-talkie), one for the guide and one for the last of the group: Security first...
Our force is to be local people, born in the area, living here all year long, biking 6 month per year since 15 years, never stop exploring the thousands of trails... |
